An article entitled "A Three-Step Introduction to the Software Cycle" written by Bimar Software Development was accepted by the YKGS 2008 Symposium, which was held on Thursday and Friday, 9-10 October 2008 at the Aviation Military School in Yeşilyurt and Istanbul Cultural University in Ataköy.

The Software Quality and Software Development Tools Symposium 2008 (YKGS 2008) attracts academicians, professional organizations, government institutions and representatives from the business sector to report and discuss their experiences in the area of software engineering quality, the solutions they have found and their criteria for software quality.

The symposium featured evaluations of sample implementations of automatic testing software for increasing software quality and computer-aided software engineering (CASE) tools. The goal of the symposium was to create a forum for the presentation of academic and business projects and to identify quality criteria used throughout the country. YKGS 2008 featured debates about achievements and developments regarding quality and software development tools in the field of software engineering in Turkey and around the world. The intent of YKGS 2008 was to help Turkey formulate a national plan for this issue.
